Louisiana State University Alumni Choir in Worship and Concert
Voci Passato (Voices of the Past), an alumni choir of the acclaimed LSU A Cappella Choir, provide an extended prelude and anthems for 11:00 am worship, and return for a free concert at 3:00 pm in the Sanctuary.

Southwest Organists and Choral Musicians to Worship at King of Glory
King of Glory hosts the opening worship service of the American Guild of Organists Southwest Regional Convention, Monday, June 12 at 8:00 pm in the Sanctuary. Patterned after Lutheran Vespers worship from the 16th and 17th centuries, the service commemorates the 500th anniversary of the Reformation. A professional choir and chamber orchestra present larger musical elements of the liturgy, alongside congregation hymns supported by the Sanctuary Choir and organist Michael Shake.Though the service is part of the convention, it is open to all - seating on a first come basis.

Jr. High Mission Trip, Chattanooga, TN
This summer King of Glory Jr. High youth will be traveling to Chattanooga, Tennessee. This small city has been influenced and shaped by the culture and history of Native Americans and the Appalachians. Our youth will partner with YouthWorks® to serve and share God’s word and Grace with this community. I want to register.
Sundays, Jun 25-Aug 20 Come join this no obligation, no prior experience necessary choir and be part of the joy, fellowship, and fun of making music to the glory of God. You can come just once, or for the whole summer! We gather Sunday mornings prior to 11:00 am worship. Open to all, high school age and up. |

VBS Hero Central
Children ages 2 (by September 1st 2016) through 5th grade will enjoy an interactive, energizing, Bible-based good time as they discover their strength in God. I want to register.
June 26-29 , Noon – 4 pm King of Glory is partnering with Triumph Sports to offer an After-VBS Sports Camp for ages 5—12. Triumph Sports is a Christ-Centered sports camp that uses sports as a means to help spread the Gospel. |
THE MONTH OF JULY
Backpack Challenge
During the month of July, each KOG family will be invited to participate by purchasing backpacks and making donations to purchase supplies. Additionally, the Faithful Ones offerings for the month will be used to fill these backpacks with school supplies. The backpacks will be divided between Family Gateway and Upbring.
Meeting July 5 through Aug. 9, our group seeks to provide encouragement and connection with other Christian women. We'll meet on Wednesday mornings for coffee, a devotion on parenting, and adult conversation! Playdates and evening get-togethers are also planned throughout the summer. Join us as we share the journey of motherhood together.
As a part of Moms Fellowship, your children are eligible to attend nursery or our FREE summer children's programs: Beach Ball Buddies (Preschool) and Flip Flop Friends (Elementary). Please send a lunch (peanut-free) and children will eat from 11:00-11:30.

SRLC is an outdoor ministry resource of the Rocky Mountain Synod, ELCA. It offers programming for a wide range of ages and with The Rocky Mountain National Park only 3 miles north, the youth will encounter Christ
