Jr. High Mission Trip
June 17-24
Chattanooga, TN

Every summer, King of Glory Jr. High youth spend a week engaged in short-term mission work. This experience is designed to educate the youth about the needs present in the world around them as well as to highlight ways that they can actually make a difference. The location varies each each year, but no matter where we go, God always moves in a powerful way.

This summer King of Glory Jr. High youth will be traveling to Chattanooga, Tennessee. This small city has been influenced and shaped by the culture and history of Native Americans and the Appalachians. Our youth will partner with YouthWorks® to serve and share God’s word and Grace with this community.

We Will:

  • Partner with local organizations to meet ongoing needs in the community.
  • Plan and lead kids programming for children in the community, including Bible lessons, games, crafts and reading.

We will also spend the week learning about the city. During our time in Chattanooga, we will get to experience the history and beauty by visiting Lookout Mountain and Audubon Acres, a National Trail of Tears site. Finally, we will join the community for a cookout.
